Herba CISTANCHES
(ROU CONG RONG; English: Cistanches)
 

Used to tonify the Yang to treat impotence, premature ejaculation, and frequent urination. It also moistens the intestines helping with constipation due to dryness of the intestines. It combines well with Cuscuta, Morinda, Epimedium, and Psoralea.
Usage: 9-21 grams.

Semen CUSCUTA
(TU SI ZI; English: Dodder Seed)
 

Tonifies the Liver, Kidneys, and Essence. Traditionally used for impotence, premature ejaculation, blurred vision, low backache, frequent urination, tinnitus, and dizziness due to Kidney and Liver deficiency. It is considered to be beneficial for infertility due to Kidney Essence deficiency. Combines well with Psoralea, Morinda, Epimedium, He Shou Wu, Lycii, and Cistances.
Usage: 9-15 grams.

Herba EPIMEDIUM
(YIN YANG HUO; English: Epimedium; "Horny Goat Weed")
 

Legend has it that this herb was discovered by a goat-herd in ancient times who noticed that several of his Billy-goats were especially licentious, often mounting their mates many times in a brief span of time. He noticed that whenever the goats would eat from a certain area where this herb happened to be growing, their mating activities became pronounced for several hours afterwards. Modern Western research has shown that it increases sexual activity and sperm production, and that stimulates the sensory nerves, thereby helping to increase sexual desire. It is often used for impotence, premature ejaculation, and infertility. Combines well with Cuscuta, Morinda, He Shou Wu, Lycii, and Cistanches.
Usage: 4.5-15 grams.

Cortex EUCOMMIA
(DU ZHONG; English: Eucommia Bark)
 

Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, strengthens the sinews and bones, and is considered one of the most important herbs in Chinese Medicine for lower back ache. It is also used for impotence and frequent urination.
Usage: 9-15 grams.

Radix MORINDA
(BA JI TIAN; English: Morinda Root)
 

Used to tonify the Kidneys and fortify the Yang. It is useful for impotence, premature ejaculation, and male or female infertility. It strengthens the sinews and bones being helpful for low back ache and arthritis. It is also said to connect the Kidneys to the Heart, thereby strengthening the willpower. Combines well with Cistanches, Epimedium, He Shou Wu, Lycii, and Cuscuta.

Fructus PSORALEA
(BU GU ZHI; English: Psoralea Seed)
 

Used to tonify the Kidneys, fortify the Yang, and warm the Spleen Yang. It is used for impotence, premature ejaculation, frequent urination, loose stools or diarrhea, and lower back pain due to Kidney Yang deficiency. Combines well with Cuscuta, Lycii, and Epimedium.
Usage: 3-9 grams.

VELVET DEER ANTLER
(LU RONG)
 

Considered to be one of the strongest substances in Chinese Medicine to tonify the Kidney Yang, Blood, and Essence. It treats all Kidney Yang deficiencies including impotence, premature ejaculation, hormonal deficiencies, coldness, lack of motivational drive, etc. The best antler is from the young deer in Jilin province.
