This modified formula is based on "Angelica Decoction" - "Dang Gui Yin Zi Tang". Dang Gui Yin Zi Tang Plus Compound

*All Planetary Herb Treasures formulas are formulated by Dr. Robert Campbell, a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine, practicing acupuncturist. Dr. Campbell has rich knowledge and expertise with herbs and formulations in treating various diseases. This line was formulated to treat the most common ailments seen today. The liquid formulations come in 4oz or 8oz bottles. Acute infection or "heat clearing" formulas come in 4oz bottles. Formulas for chronic ailments, where tonification is necessary for a period of time come in 8oz bottles. The 4oz bottles last for about 10 days. The 8oz bottles last for about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks.

The herbs are extracted in water utilizing a special cooking procedure to maintain the temperature necessary with careful consideration taken as to not destroy the herbal constituents in our own in-house facility. Earthenware-porcelain vessels are used as to not change the herbs properties as when utilizing aluminum or other metallic vessels. 3% alcohol is used as a preservative in the bottling process. This water extraction process was developed as to avoid the high concentrations of alcohol commonly used in extractions today. With the extremely low percentage of alcohol used. These bottles must be refrigerated after opening. Refrigerated and capped tight, the shelf life is 6-9 months.

Most of these liquid formulations are based on Traditional Chinese prescriptions that were developed over thousands of years and modified by Dr. Campbell to treat the diseases in this country. Others, are formulated by Dr. Campbell in order to treat the "new types" of diseases see today.

All dosages are on the bottles. Dosages are generally 1tsp(teaspoon) 3X a day. The formulas are clinically effective. Some are very fast acting, where results can be noticed immediately within hours or a few days. Others, depending on the condition of the person, (if the person is deficient) would obviously take longer, sometimes weeks, months or even years.

Every single formula in this line has been used effectively for the indications listed. As Americans today, with all the contaminants in the food, air, and water, as well as hormones, antibiotics, drugs, chemicals, radiation, genetically-engineered substances are experiencing new and different diseases that developed through our civilization.
